Leave the hotel at 9 AM to catch a ride on the Rail Runner for a day of exploring the sights in Santa Fe on your own. A motor coach will meet our train and act as a shuttle between the station and the heart of Santa Fe. Return to ABQ, late afternoon. Sights in Santa Fe include the Fred Harvey hotel, La Fonda, the cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, the Loretto Chapel, shopping for Native American arts and crafts found along the Plaza and much more.

  • 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM – Breakfast in hotel restaurant, StoneStreet (voucher for breakfast)

  • 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM – Registration Open, Garden Room

  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM – Santa Fe Trip (extra cost)

  • 12 Noon to 8:00 PM – Registration Open, Garden Room

  • 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Vendor Set up

  • 9:00 AM  to 10:00 AM – "Santa Fe-Promoter of the Southwest" - exploring how the Santa Fe in concert with the Fred Harvey Company created the tourism market in New Mexico and Arizona, by Brad Black

  • 9:00 AM  to 10:00 AM – Insurance Update

  • 9:30 AM  to  3:00 PM – Tour of Old Town, Trading Post, Lunch at Indian Cultural Center (extra cost)

  • 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM – Break

  • 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM – Amtrak and FRA presentation, presenters to be announced

  • 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM – Lunch (on own) if not going to ATSF 2926 shop area
